Tess, desperate for freedom, confronts him: “I thought my dad was your best friend.” Frank’s response is unwavering: “He was my best friend. And I’m going to honor that by doing what’s best for his daughter.”

In a contacting second, Honest visits Tess at the bar where she works. He furnishes her with data for a solid safeguard lawyer. "Tune in, I'm dealing with my tribute," he tells her. "Assuming there's anything you want, make it a point to."
